Pre-departure Guide for International Students

Coming to a new country, for most students, requires a period of adjustment. It may be hard to leave friends and family behind and you may experience a range of emotions about your decision.
BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE
• Do not hesitate to talk with our staff and other experienced students.
• Make yourself at home. Bring some of your favorite things with you, including photos of family and friends, and learn to cook some of your favorite dishes.
• Get interested in and familiar with the Chinese culture as soon as possible.
Each semester we arrange a variety of student activities to help a new student adapt to their new life. Various Tourist Guidebooks provide helpful information about the local conditions and customs in China. The following website also provide useful.
